Marks Zuckerbeg wants to build Jarvis from IronMan:
Greetings all the ironman fans, well looks like someone has finally taken note of your love for Jarvis and this time it’s someone who might get to the end with this speculation. Mark Zuckerberg the CEO of Facebook said in his post that he is making his new year’s resolution to build an ai-assistant for his house to help him out with his work in his home. He made this as his resolution for this year. He usually makes resolutions as reading books or traveling places but this year it came off as a surprise, people are expecting big things from this guy as if Mark succeeds to make a great new automatic home for him then it might turn out that Facebook is helping people to make their homes intelligent.

Zuckerberg said that right now he has a lot of difficulty in moving around in his house with this AI approach he would be able to know I which corner of hos house he is currently being needed. He said he would be taking help from the current artificial intelligence program of Facebook to start off with this approach, as he needs image and voice intelligent AI programs for his usage. Which would be scanning for words from people to perform tasks or images from Zuckerberg’s home to transfer a certain message to him that this thing is going wrong or that he is needed in this place.ai-assistant
Certainly it wouldn’t be as cool as Jarvis in the beginning but it could turn out to be in the years to come. Right now there are certain speculations that Facebook might even make this thing as a professional business but Zuckerberg negated these facts in comments he said that building an AI that would be general purpose for all homes is too difficult to start off with and that right now. How wants to make it for him home specifically, then after he would think about it if he feels this was helpful for his own home.
In a comment where Mark was asked how would he start building this AI program and isn’t AI considered dangerous for humans, Mark replied:
I’ll start teaching it to understand my voice to control everything in our home — music, lights, temperature and so on. I’ll teach it to let friends in by looking at their faces when they ring the doorbell. I’ll teach it to let me know if anything is going on in (daughter) Max’s room that I need to check on when I’m not with her. On the work side, it’ll help me visualize data in VR to help me build better services and lead my organizations more effectively. I think we can build AI so it works for us and helps us. Some people fear-monger about how AI is a huge danger. But that seems far-fetched to me and much less likely than disasters due to widespread disease, violence, etc.
