Why Steam and Minecraft servers down before Christmas?

Hackers targeting all big sites before Christmas:

If you are finding it utterly difficult to log in to your Steam or Minecraft accounts on their website then there could be a chance that their servers would have had been taken by Hacking groups. SkidNP is a hacking group which says that they would take down major gaming sites like Minecraft and Steam because there security measures are just too low and they want them in increase their security, for that they even took down some minor websites just to announce their declaration of security assurance.

Minecraft servers taken down by hackers

They have started this act after tweeting this:

“We will be hitting them because we are trying to make services like them [prevent] these sort of attacks, so they get stronger… Anyone with a $5 booter can take down Xbox if they have the right IP.”

Xbox Live hacked?

Well this is quite an obvious fact that they aren’t just messing around they know their work and wait what’s that in the end, did they just claim they can even take down Xbox Live if they want too, well yes that has been a case for quite some time now people have been doing this far too long but they hadn’t claimed this hack. This is the first time someone has admitted that such a hack is possible for Microsoft’s site.

Phantom vs Skid?

The story doesn’t end here there is another group called the Phantom group who also have started to be hyper active in this dilemma, they also have claimed to hack the very sites SkidNP had managed to hack leaving some ambiguity for people. But SkidNP sorted that out in a very short amount of time when they took down Phantom’s website pointing out that they were frauds and shouldn’t take credit for others work.
